Since 1987, the Peoria Education Foundation has offered grants to teachers in the Peoria Unified School District to enhance the educational experience of students. The Foundation is an IRS designated 501(c)(3) which provides scholarships to students and grants to teachers within the district.
Through fundraising efforts, events and generous community donors, the Foundation continues to support Peoria Unified teachers and students today.
More recently, the Foundation added an Emergency Needs Fund, which is a program designed to reimburse school principals who may need to fund an urgent need for a Peoria Unified student.

The Foundation awarded scholarships to 28 Peoria Unified high school seniors.
This grant project allowed me to purchase a Yamaha Harmony Director keyboard for each of my two schools, utilized during rehearsal to develop each student's ear through pitch recognition.

Against All Odds Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who have overcome significant adversity to complete their high school coursework and plan to continue on with post-secondary education.
Each year, the Peoria Education Foundation recognizes the efforts of selected high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence and a strong commitment to the community in which they live.
This scholarship is intended for graduates who have demonstrated excellence in leadership throughout their high school career.
The Peoria Education Foundation, established this scholarship in his honor to recognize a deserving senior who shares Joe’s passion for history, politics and giving back to the community.
A Project Unify Athlete is recognized by their mentors for participating in Unified Sports activities for at least one year during their high school career.
The Project Unify Scholarship is intended for seniors for who have experienced working with special needs students during high school and who plan to complete their field of study, working with individuals with disabilities.
