Last November, Superintendent Dr. KC Somers launched Somers' Spotlight, an all-new employee recognition program that gives parents the opportunity to recognize Peoria Unified staff's commitment to every student, every day.
Band Director Jacob Osorio was recognized as a Somers' Spotlight. Mr. Osorio was honored for his commitment to ensuring his students reach their fullest potential. Parents shared "at any Friday night football game, you can find him dancing and singing along to the music." He exemplifies what it means to guide, support and encourage students.
